Urban Apps was created in April, 2009.
Previously, Urban Apps had been known as Coneybeare Labs and also released apps under the owners name, Matt Coneybeare.
We are a small but dedicated team located in New York.
Urban Apps makes quality mobile applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch. We love these devices! Who could blame us?... they are so sexy :) Our most popular app, Ambiance, is currently available on BlackBerry and Android phones as well, and is currently being developed for the desktop.
We don't make apps for you... we make apps for us. We use all of our apps everyday and develop them to provide a solution where we see a problem. Turns out that our apps make many other people happy too.
Apple has featured Ambiance heavily by including the app on every demo iPhone in the Apple Store (pic here) and in the app store (sweet pic here). Ambiance has also been on the "Staff Favorites" list and the "What's Hot" list. Ambiance has had a cameo appearance in two iPhone television commercials.
MacWorld has given Ambiance an Excellent Review of 4 mice!
Ambiance has been named "Top Pick" in the Best iPhone Apps book by O'Reilly.
Recalls has been chosen as an Apple Staff Favorite in the iTunes App Store.
Ambiance has been chosen as the App of the Day for October 30th, 2009.
